The decision comes at a time when the company is openly in a feud with DeSantis.
The Florida governor said, it was ‘unsurprising’ that Disney would cancel the project due to the company’s financial status, falling market cap, and declining stock price.
Earlier this year, the company announced it would be cutting 7 thousand jobs and on Thursday it confirmed that it will be shutting down its ‘Star Wars: Galactic Star-Cruiser’ Resort at Disney World, just a year after it opened.
