Crash Resulted In The Death Of One Pedestrian And Left Two Motorcyclist Injured

The Horry County Police Department is stressing safety on the roads during the 84th Annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week.

On Wednesday night, a crash resulted in the death of one pedestrian and left two motorcyclists injured.

A 2015 Harley Davidson was traveling South on Highway 17 Business and struck the pedestrian who was in the road near Woodland Drive Extension a little after 11p.m..

The pedestrian died and the motorcycle driver and a passenger were both transported to a hospital. No information on their condition has been publicly released at this time.

The incident is currently under investigation.
