William Byron Takes 1st in NASCAR Cup Series at Darlington Raceway

Byron became the first three-time winner in the Nascar Cup Series this season.

William Byron took advantage of a late on-track incident between Ross Chastain and Kyle Larson to win yesterday’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington raceway. It was a lap 288 crash between Chastain and Larson, while battling for the lead, that gave Byron the opportunity to by pass and win his seventh career victory. Byron became the first three-time winner in the Nascar Cup Series this season. Kevin Harvick placed in second, Chase Elliot took third, Brad Keselowski placed fourth and Bubba Wallace finished in fifth.
