84th Annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week is Officially Underway

Police advise drivers to stay alert with the increases presence of bikes on roadways.

Myrtle Beach’s 84th Bike Week has officially kicked off! The Grand Strand will have tours, vendors, biker-friendly bars and routes for participants to enjoy. Every year, bike week attracts hundreds of thousands of bikers to the Grand Strand making it one of the biggest rallies in the country. Police are asking people to be aware of helmet laws in the state, if you are under 21 you are required to wear a helmet while on a bike. Police are also advising for all drivers to stay more aware and alert of their surroundings than usual while traveling on the roads.
