Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
To participate, all you have to do is leave a bag or box containing non-perishable food next to your mailbox prior to mail delivery on May 13th.
This Saturday, the National Association of Letter Carriers will host its 31st annual national food drive.
The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will be happening all throughout the United States and is the largest National single-day food drive.
To participate, all you have to do is leave a bag or box containing non-perishable food next to your mailbox prior to mail delivery on May 13th. Your mail carrier will take care of the rest.
The food is then sorted and delivered to an area food bank or pantry, where it is available for families in need.
Over the past 30 years, the drive has delivered over 1.8 billion pounds of food.
