2023 Rock Hall Inductees Announced

The ceremony will take place November 3rd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced their Class of 2023 yesterday.  There are 13 and in the Performers category is Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners. Chaka Khan is being recognized, but for the “Musical Excellence” award.  Same with Elton John-collaborator Bernie Taupin and songwriter Al Kooper.  DJ Kool Hercwill receive the “Musical Influence” award.  He helped develop hip hop music, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.  Guitarist Link Wray will also receive the “Musical Influence” award. The Ahmet Ertegun award will go to “Soul Train” creator Don Cornelius. The ceremony will take place November 3rd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
