Myrtle Beach Man Arrested for Elon University Student’s Death
He has been charged with hit-and-run resulting in death.
A man has been arrested in connection to a hit and run that killed an Elon University student in Myrtle Beach. 45-year-old Jason Sauro of Myrtle Beach appeared in court yesterday and his bond was set at $50,000. He has been charged with hit-and-run resulting in death. According to the judge, Sauro was found not guilty of a 2011 traffic offense and has no other record. 21 year old Jackson Yelle, was killed while visiting the city with members of a club baseball team. A vigil was held last night for Yelle on the Elon University Campus.
