N.C. Republicans Propose Bill To Restrict Drag Shows

North Carolina Republicans proposed a new bill that would make it illegal to perform a drag show.
The drag bill would classify some ‘male or female impersonators’ with exotic dancers and strippers under state law.
This would prohibit them from performing on public property where a minor could possibly witness the performance.
If passed, House bill 673 would restrict drag shows and anyone who performs could potentially be arrested and charged with a crime and possibly face felony charges.
