Metallica Has a Challenge for Marching Bands

Winners will receive instruments and equipment for their school's program.

Metallica is challenging high school and college-level marching bands to a competition using their music. Bands who enter will have access to the sheet music for 13 songs that Metallica has chosen, including “For Whom the Bell Tolls”, “Fade to Black”, and, of course, “Enter Sandman”. Submissions will be narrowed down to five finalists by professional judges, with Metallica choosing the final prize winner. But, fan favorite winners will be chosen by fan voting. Bands must send in their video submissions by November 16th and winners will receive instruments and equipment for their school’s program.
