The South Strand Antique Arts Association Brings Some Unique Finds to Carolina AM!
Most of the members are avid collectors of something with a wide range of interests and are eager to learn about other antiques!
Don Cate and George Comer of the South Strand Antique Arts Association stopped by the studio to talk all things antiques and artifacts! The SSAAA was organized in 2004 as a Chapter of the American Antique Arts Association. Although the collecting aspect of the SSAAA is emphasised, it is much richer than that. Members also take interest in the history, culture, architecture, and artifacts of the area. They have taken tours of a number of nearby towns and cities, and made donations to historical societies and museums in the area as well. Speakers at their meetings cover a wide range of topics including collectibles from A to Z.
