10th Annual Bridge2Bridge Run to Take Place in Georgetown
After being postponed due to COVID-19, Friendship Place Announces 2023 Bridge2Bridge Run.
Friendship Place, a Christian-based nonprofit organization in Georgetown, announces the Bridge2Bridge Run is returning in 2023 for the
10th annual race. Hundreds of tourists and locals will descend upon Georgetown on Saturday, March 25. Entries cost $45 for the 5k and $65 for the 12k.

The Georgetown Bridge2Bridge racecourse is designed to showcase the Hammock Coast, Georgetown County, and the City of Georgetown. The starting line is at the Rice Museum Clock Tower on Front Street. The course navigates past historical landmarks such as the Winyah Indigo Society Hall, Georgetown County Museum, Kaminski House, and the old Georgetown County Courthouse. The finish line will be located near Francis
Marion Park.
All participants will receive a finisher medal and T-shirt. Special medals will be awarded to those who place in their age group. Participants and spectators will be treated to live music and a beer garden at the finish line.
Friendship Place, a nonprofit organization rooted in Christian values, has served the Georgetown, South Carolina, community for more than 20 years. Today, Friendship Place works to provide its neighbors in poverty the opportunity to move from crisis to self- sufficiency. Friendship Place has served thousands of Georgetown residents in need through its programs, providing employment training and placement, community meals, prayer services, and mental and behavioral health services through its four core programs: Georgetown Works, Georgetown Eats, Georgetown Prays, and the Riverside Behavioral and Learning Collaborative.
