New Seating Options Added To Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Crews began installing the new circular seats on Wednesday and wrapped up the project Thursday.

The city of Myrtle Beach has been working to add new features to its boardwalk.

New seating options were previously announced and the city was waiting for them to be delivered.

The city removed the old benches last July as part of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Revamp. They were also taken out due to a high level of traffic.

Crews began installing the new circular seats on Wednesday and wrapped up the project Thursday.

Now, nearly 80 new seats are placed along the boardwalk.
