How The Pilot Club Gives Back to Our Community

BrainMinders and beach wheelchairs are just two of the many initiatives The Pilot Club offers to our area.

Ruth Smith of The Pilot Club of North Myrtle Beach was in the studio to talk about the services they offer to our area.

The Pilot Club started with hopes to be leaders in the community. One of their big initiatives is teaching children as well as seniors about brain safety through educational puppet shows. Through BrainMinders, they target elementary school students and senior center residents about preventing brain injuries.

Plus, they help provide beach wheechairs to those in need so members of the community or visitors can experience our beautiful beaches! The Pilot Club has also partnered with Adaptive Surf Project of Myrtle Beach by volunteering during their Wheels to Surf events along the Grand Strand.
