Fourth Arrest Made In Connection To Discovered Deceased Body

A 16-year-old is still wanted on charges in connection to the murder.

Another arrest has been made in connection to the discovery of a deceased body found on February 1st.

22-year-old Timothy Jacobs was found dead in a car that was parked in a field just outside of Lumberton.

Xavier Davis, Tyler Scott, and Destinee Scott, were all previously arrested in connection to the death of Jacobs.

On Monday, police arrested 22-year-old Clonze McDuffie who was wanted on charges of accessory after the fact of murder and altering criminal evidence. He is also charged with second-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon, and four counts of possession of a stolen firearm.

McDuffie is being detained at the Robeson County Detention Center on a 2 million dollar secured bond.

A 16-year-old is still wanted on charges in connection to the murder.
