Damar Hamlin’s Possibility To Return To The Field
Dr. Thom Mayer said, "I guarantee you that Damar Hamlin will play professional football again."
Damar Hamlin’s doctor announced some great news in the player’s progress.
The Buffalo Bills safety suffered cardiac arrest mid game against the Cincinnati Bengals a little over a month ago. The 24-year-old collapsed after making a tackle in the first quarter of the game.
Trainers conducted CPR and used a defibrillator on the field to resuscitate Hamlin before he was taken to the hospital and put on a ventilator during his recovery process.
Hamlin was discharged from a medical center on January 11th.
Medical Director for the NFL Players Association, Dr. Thom Mayer said, “I guarantee you that Damar Hamlin will play professional football again.”
The NFL Players Association presented him with the Alan Page Community award Wednesday night for raising more than $9 million for his “Chasing M” foundation.
