A new art gallery is opening in Myrtle Beach.

On Thursday, the grand opening for ‘9.gallery’ will take place. The new gallery will display stained glass.

Peter Nein has been working on stained glass for 37 years and decided to open a place where people can gather and view his pieces. He designs tables, doors, and window pieces, from crystals and stained glass that allow light to shine across the room in an abstract way.

The grand opening will be hosted at 515 Broadway Street in Myrtle Beach from 4-9p.m..

Nein said his gallery will host events on the 9th day of each month.
