AMC Will Begin Charging More for Better Seats

AMC is re-writing its script on ticket prices.

Don’t expect to save money at the movies…especially if you want a good seat. AMC is re-writing its script on ticket prices. The theater chain is rolling out a ticket pricing initiative based on seat location. Customers will have the option to pay more or less for admission depending on where they want to sit. So, front row seats won’t cost as much as seats in the middle of the theater. The initiative kicks off this Friday (Jan. 10) at select locations and will expand by the end of the year.
