Linda Barnes and her therapy dog, Carson, stopped by the studio today to share their amazing story!

Linda is a retired occupational therapist who decided to get Carson certified as a therapy dog. He was registered with a national organization last June and began bringing happiness to everyone he meets, Linda included, who loves being able to help put smiles on people’s faces and spend time with her dog.

Carson has been helping to lessen anxiety and calm fears for people at the Coastal Cancer Center.

The pair will be heading back home to Pennsylvania where they will continue bringing happiness to others as well.

Linda and Carson want to encourage other pets and pet owners that there is a real need for therapy dogs. If you have been considering getting your canine registered, the Cancer Center as well as many other places and people can benefit from registered dogs.
