Several Companies are Cutting Jobs in the U.S.

FedEx, Rivian Automotive, and DraftKings, announced terminations can be expected in attempt to become more efficient.

A group of companies have announced they will be conducting layoffs.

FedEx, Rivian Automotive, and DraftKings joined the growing list of U.S. corporations conducting job cuts.

FedEx sent out an announcement to employees warning that the package delivery company is cutting the size of its officer and director team by over 10%.

Rivian said it is reducing 6% of its workforce, or around 840 jobs.

DraftKings said that teams within the company are being re-organized in a bid to “increase efficiency” which would lead to nearly 140 terminations.

Each CEO of those companies gave the same explanation that the action is necessary to benefit them and become more efficient.
