How to Make Your Own Sole Water…and the Benefits That Come With It!

The new trend has folks putting pink salts into their H2O for added benefits.

We all know water is essential to good health and now there’s a new trend with folks putting pink salts into their H2O for added benefits. It’s called sole water. It’s basically water that has been fully saturated with pink Himalayan salt. Proponents say drinking the beverage balances ion levels and provides a number of health benefits.

It’s made by saturating water with pink Himalayan salt. This is typically done by putting the salt in a glass jar until it’s a quarter of the way full, then filling the rest of the jar with water and letting it sit for 12–24 hours. Put 1  teaspoon (5 ml) of the mixture in 8-ounces of room-temperature water and drink up!

So, how is it different from table salt? Less sodium and it holds other minerals and trace elements.
