Nikki Haley served five terms in state office before she became the ambassador to the UN.

Haley is set to announce her bid on February 15th in Charleston. Her announcement would make her the second Republican to confirm their bid for the White House, following Former President Trump.

In 2021 Haley said she would back Trump again and would not challenge him in a 2024 race.

The former S.C. governor said, “We need to go in a new direction, and can I be that leader? Yes, I think I can be that leader.”
