Many Flights Cancelled Due To Ice Storm Freezing Parts Of The South

Almost 1 thousand flights have been canceled as an ice storm freezes over parts of the South.
Flights within, to, and from the United States were canceled. The storm is mainly in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area which means most of the cancelations stem from there.
288 flights were canceled at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport alone. At least 319 Southwest flights were canceled and 308 American Airlines flights were listed as canceled as well. 90 Southwest and 29 American Airlines flights were marked as delayed.
