The CEO of TikTok is set to testify before congress.
Shou Zi Chew will testify on behalf of the video platform at a hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He will be the only witness called on during the hearing.
Chew is expected to testify on TikTok’s privacy and data security practices, its impact on young users, and its “relationship to the Chinese Communist Party”.
