Grand Strands Beach’n’Chili Fest 2023 Dates Announced

The three days will be full of entertainment such as antique car shows, live music, and hundreds of chili recipe tastings.

The Beach’n’Chili fest is set to return to the Grand Strand.

The 56th annual World Championship Chili Cook-Off is scheduled to begin on September 29th and will last until October 1st.

The event will be set up at Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place.

The three days will be full of entertainment such as antique car shows, live music, and hundreds of chili recipe tastings. Guests of the festival will assist in choosing the winner.

Last year, over 30 thousand people attended the chili festivities. This year, event organizers hope to surpass 50 thousand.

Admission is free but if you would like to upgrade your experience in the chili cookoff, tickets can be purchased at EatGreatChili.

Some expected events include…

Family Fun Zone: This amenity is for all families in the Grand Strand to experience. It will hosts food game competitions with prize options. It will also hosts volleyball tournaments and more. The Zone will have something for kids of any age and for no charge at all.

People’s Choice Chili Sampling and Judging: If you choose to participate in the People’s Choice Judging, you can challenge your taste buds. Try flavors from any five of the teams competing in the cook-off and vote for your favorite one. The team with the most votes from people’s choice will claim the People’s Choice winner title.
