Roe V. Wade Anniversary March

Abortion rights activists rallied on what is known as "Wade day" in regards to the ruling of Roe V. Wade being overturned last year.

Sunday marked the 50th anniversary of the landmark Roe V. Wade decision.

Many gathered all across the nation as they rallied for abortion rights protections. The U.S. Supreme Court decision first granted federal protections for abortion rights on January 22nd in 1973.

Abortion rights activists rallied on what is known as “Wade day” in regards to the ruling of Roe V. Wade being overturned last year.

Demonstrators marched in Washington D.C. as well as locations all over the nation, but the main march was held in Madison, Wisconsin.

Both sides held marches, those for and against abortion.
