Japan Prime Minister To Meet With Biden At The White House

The White House shared that President Biden is expected to reiterate his full support for Japan's plans.

The Japanese Prime Minister is set to meet President Biden at The White House.

The two leaders will cover various regional and global issues including “the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s unlawful weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs”, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as well as keeping the peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, said he will talk about Tokyo’s new security policy and reassure close ties with the United States.

The White House shared that President Biden is expected to reiterate his full support for Japan’s plans.

The meeting will be held on January 13th.
