Suspect Arrested For Stabbing Incident

After a reported stabbing incident, a person was found with injuries to his head, face, and a large stab wound to his thigh.

A man has now been arrested for a stabbing incident that happened on December 4th.

44-year-old, Roderick Greene, is facing charges of second degree assault and battery, as well as disorderly conduct.

Georgetown County Police responded to a report of a stabbing near West Street. When officials arrived, a person was found with injuries to his head, face, and a large stab wound to his thigh.

It was discovered that while both Greene and the victim were in a vehicle, Greene reportedly held the victim at gunpoint and told him he was going to rob him and his dad.

The victim escaped the car and ran for help. Greene allegedly followed him onto a porch and began to stab him and hit him in the face.

The suspect fled the scene after the victim knocked on a door of a nearby residence for help.

Surveillance evidence captured the entire incident.

The Criminal Investigations Division has now taken over the case.
