Shooting Investigation Opened For Search Of Suspects

The shooting took place in the area of 16th Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard around 12:30p.m.

Officials are searching for suspects in connection to a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses noticed officers going in and out of a room on the third floor of the Wave Rider Resort.

The suspects fled the scene on foot.

One person was injured in the incident and transported to a hospital but their condition has not been released.

An investigation has been opened and anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
