Two Men Arrested For Drugs Delivered Via Drone

A traffic stop was conducted where were officials found walkie talkies, night vision optics, a camouflage suit and a drone remote control.

Two men have been accused of flying drugs into a correctional institution by drone.

51-year-old, Antonine Ferguson and 44-year-old, Steven Washington, were both arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana, criminal conspiracy and furnishing contraband to a state inmate or into a state institution or facility.

After reports of a suspicious vehicle in a nearby area of the Evans Correctional Institution in Marlboro County were made, a traffic stop was conducted where Ferguson and Washington were found in the vehicle along with handguns, three semi-automatic rifles, walkie talkies, night vision optics, a camouflage suit and a drone remote control.

Ferguson and Washington were both booked into the Marlboro County Detention Center.
