Myrtle Beach Fugitive Arrested In Utah
The suspect was convicted for using the dating app 'Grindr' to find victims who were visiting the Grand Strand and commit armed robbery.
The man convicted for his involvement in a Myrtle Beach case, was arrested in Utah after failure to appear in court.
22-year-old, Dlanor Tilton, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service on charges of being a fugitive.
In July, Tilton was convicted for two counts of armed robbery at a trial he failed to attend. His sentence was sealed until he could be taken into custody.
Tilton and one other man who has already been sentenced, are convicted for using the dating app ‘Grindr’ to find victims who were visiting the Grand Strand and commit armed robbery.
Officials had been searching for Tilton for five months before finding him hiding out in Utah.
Tilton will now be brought back to Horry County and will face justice for the crimes he committed in Myrtle Beach.
