Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy addressed ‘G20’ leaders requesting that they refuse to offer any peace deal that would compromise the country’s independence from Russia.

During his speech, Zelenskyy stated that the recent liberation of Kherson, can be compared to the D-Day landing of allied troops in Normandy, which was a crucial turning point in WWII.

Zelenskyy said, “for Ukraine, this liberation operation of our defense forces is reminiscent of many battles of the past, which became turning points in the wars of the past.”

The Ukrainian leader expressed that he wants the Russian war to end justly without having to compromise Ukrainian territory, independence, or moral sense. He also thanked countries for rejecting Russia’s nuclear weapon’s threats and said that the threats are “crazy” and no excuses can be made for nuclear blackmail.
