Ukraine Has Received 2/8 Of The NASAMS Promised From The U.S.

The weapons are expected to significantly strengthen the Ukraine's Army and make their skies safer.

Earlier this year, the U.S. committed to sending eight national advanced surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine.

Last month, The White House announced the transportation of two systems. The announcement came after Russian missiles and military drones thrashed Ukraine’s critical infrastructures. The attack has left many Ukrainian citizens without water and power.

The systems provide short-to-medium range defenses and could assist Ukraine in engaging Russian cruise missiles.

Ukraine has officially received two out of the eight promised air defense systems.

The weapons are expected to significantly strengthen the Ukraine’s Army and make their skies safer.
