The Parkland School Shooter Was Formally Sentenced To Life In Prison

On Wednesday, the gunman guilty of the murder of 17 people in the Parkland school shooting case, was formally sentenced.

Nikolas Cruz avoided the death penalty and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Before the formal sentence came, the family members of the victims were given the chance to personally address Cruz in court.

Most of them expressed the wish for him to be sentenced to death, as others wished him true cruelty treatment in prison.

Cruz, who is responsible for the 2018 mass shooting at Majory Stoneman Douglas High School, will now be transferred to a federal prison and remain there until his death.
