First responders on The Grand Strand are raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department is selling pink Myrtle Beach Fire t-shirts to raise money for families on The Grand Strand affected by breast cancer. Responders have been wearing these shirts themselves.

The fundraiser has been ongoing since 2012 after the department lost one of their own to an 18 year battle with the disease.

Shirts are $25 and can be purchased at Myrtle-Beach-Fire-.com or in person at the administration office located at 921 Oak Street Monday-Friday from 8a.m-5p.m
