The game was played against Old Dominion who surprised the Chants with their rushing attack. Old Dominions, Blake Watson, was their main powerhouse during this game. Watson ran for a total of 256 yards and made 3 touchdowns including a 67 yard scoring run in the last quarter. Coastal quarterback, Grayson McCall was sacked 6 times throughout the game yet still threw for 358 yards and made 3 touchdowns.

The final score was 49-21. CCU’s next game is away on October 29th against Marshall.
