Russia Conducted Missile Attacks On Ukrainian Civilian Areas

Russia conducted missile attacks on Ukrainian civilian areas that resulted in deaths and many injuries.

Russian President Putin stated the the attack was in response to what he called “Kyiv’s terrorist actions.” Putin is referring to an attack on the road and rail bridge between Crimea and the Russian mainland. The Kerch Strait Bridge, is important for resupplying Russian forces as they defend against Ukraine’s counteroffensive.

Although Ukraine is not claiming responsibility, Putin pointed fingers and responded by launching missile strikes. The targets were civilian areas and energy facilities in 10 cities. The incident has been the biggest and most widespread Russian attack in months.
