Russians Are Fleeing To Neighbor Georgia

After President Putin’s announcement to mobilize citizens to fight, thousands have fled the country. On Sunday, the estimated wait to enter Russia’s neighbor Georgia, reached 48hrs with more than 3,000 vehicles waiting to cross the border. Anti-war protests last week resulted in more than 200 men detained and issued draft summons. Flights departing Moscow are mostly sold out or have very few tickets available at high prices. Russia hasn’t closed its borders and guards seem to be allowing people to leave.
