Fall Festivals are Underway on the Grand Strand…Get all the Details on Some Great Local Events

Fall is one of the most popular times for local festivals and events…and this weekend there are several happening in our area.

The 47th Annual Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival is taking place at Huntington Beach State Park. It’s ten dollars to get in and you can enjoy fine art, crafts and local food, along with music. the vents is from noon to 5:00pm today and from 10:00am to 5:00pm tomorrow and Sunday.

Or, head out to Burroughs and Chapin Pavillion for the Beach N’ Chili fest! It’s the 55th Annual World Championship Chili Cook-Off featuring over 500 different flavors! General admission is free but of course you’ll have to pay for all the tastings. That kicks off today through Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm each day.

There’s another great food event…the Taste of the Market Common is also going on. That’s tomorrow from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Taste options from 12 of our restaurants, plus shop sidewalk sales and be sure to enter their drawing for a fall prize pack.

Surfside Beach is getting in on the action as well…the 2nd Annual Celebrate Surfside Beach Festival is on Sunday from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Find food, drinks, live bands, plenty of vendors and even a dunking booth! All the fun will be on on 3rd Avenue South to Surfside Drive.

Don’t forget to stop by the WFXB tent tomorrow at the Irish Italian International Festival on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. We’ll be there from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Enjoy the craft vendors, festival food favorites, plenty of entertainment for kids and adults!
