Leonard Francis Arrested
The criminal that orchestrated the largest corruption scandal in US Navy history has been arrested. Former military contractor, Leonard Francis was arrested by authorities in Venezuela at the request of the US Marshals Service. Francis was filed as a “Red Notice” with Interpol after he escaped house arrest earlier this month. The investigation into Francis began nearly a decade ago and touched on capitals and ports across the Pacific, including Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok and Manila. Several Navy officials were arrested for allegedly taking cash, prostitutes, and paid for trips in exchange for steering ships to ports where Francis’s contracting company operated providing services such as fuel and tugboats.
