Sprite is Ditching Their Iconic Green Bottles

Other beverages including Fresca, Seagram's and Mello Yello will also be replaced.

Sprite has been recognized for decades by its green cans and bottles but Coca-Cola announced a new look to the iconic soda. The company will be retiring Sprite’s green plastic bottles for more environmentally-friendly clear ones. The change will take effect starting in August. Other beverages including Fresca, Seagram’s and Mello Yello will also be replaced with clear containers in the coming months. With those changes, Coke said it’s projected to reduce about 20-million pounds of new plastic waste.
