Majority of College Students Aren’t Prepared to Clean Up After Themselves

In a survey, 92% of college-age kids agreed that a clean room helps them feel their best but 72% say they came to college unprepared to clean up after themselves.

When we talk back to school, the focus is usually on younger children, but what about sending our teens off to college!  It may be time to have the clean talk.   In a survey, 92% of college-age kids agreed that a clean room helps them feel their best but 72% say they came to college unprepared to clean up after themselves.  Most of them admit they don’t feel motivated to clean and about the same amount claim they don’t have enough time.   Plus, there’s often at least two students in a space, and 71% say they’ve argued with a roommate over how to clean.
