It’s the end of an era…as Apple announced it will end production of the iPod. The first iPod debuted in October of 2001 with more than 100 million devices sold within six years of its release. Over the years, the product line included the iPod classic, the nano and the shuffle. The iPod touch was the last one standing, and the company says it’ll only be available “while supplies last.”
