Carolina Squat Bill Passed in the House of Representatives, Heading to McMaster’s Desk for Signature

The Carolina Squat bill was passed yesterday by the South Carolina House of Representatives. The bill that bans some modifications of the ‘Carolina Squat’ is on it’s way to Governor McMaster’s desk after being passed unanimously by the house. If the bill is signed, it will become unlawful to raise the front fender of a vehicle four or more inches above the height of the rear fender. Supporters of the ban say the modifications are dangerous because it limits the driver’s ability to see smaller cars or pedestrians in front of them.
