Russian Forces Begin Targeting Moldova

Russian President Vladimir Putin is on the brink of expanding the war outside of Ukraine. According to Kremlin officials, there have been ‘acts of terrorism’ in Moldova. Last week, Moscow set its sights on the country when a Russian general said the goal was to gain ‘full control’ over eastern Ukraine and regions along it’s southern border that sit above the Black Sea which will allow Russia to gain access to Transnistria, a state in Moldova with sympathetic ties to Russia. In recent days in Transnistria there have been shellings which have blown up social and infrastructure facilities. Other explosions were also reported including one that hit the Ministry of State Security in the city of TIraspol and radio antennas that broadcast Russian programs.
