Over 4 Million People Have Fled Ukraine as the War Continues

According to the United Nations, more than 4 million people have fled Ukraine since the war began which is 10% of the country’s population. More than 2.3 have fled to Poland and the remaining fled to countries including Romania, Moldova and Hungary. Here in the states, President Biden spoke with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy today, the call came a day after Biden and other U.S. officials voiced caution at signals Russia is scaling back it’s military operations near Kyiv. President Biden is also planning to continue to keep strong sanctions and ‘provide the Ukrainian military with their capacity to defend themselves until the end of the war.
