White House to Release Previously Classified Documents on JFK Assassination

The Biden administration is set to release some unreleased records pertaining to the assassination of former President John F Kennedy. The release is expected to prolong the debate between the government and JFK researchers who argued that the CIA, the FBI and other national security agencies have continually stonewalled a congressionally mandated release. Tens of thousands of records related to the assassination that have been collected by a review board established by congress in 1992 remain partially redacted or withheld completely. The number of documents released today is expected to be small.
