New Degree Programs Coming to Coastal Carolina University

New changes are coming to CCU next year! The Coastal Carolina Board of Trustees met yesterday to approve two new degree programs. The programs include Bachelor of Science in Marine and Coastal Environmental Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Higher Education and Community Relations. The programs will need to be approved by the South Carolina Higher Education Commission and the South Association of Colleges and Schools before being added to the curriculum.

The board also approved plans to replace the existing clubhouse at the University’s General James Hackler Golf course with an 18,000 square foot PGA Golf Management facility that will include classrooms, offices, an instructional lab, a student lounge, pro shop, restrooms and food service area.
