MYR Announces New Therapy Dog Program

Myrtle Beach International Airport has announced the launch of it’s new therapy dog program. The program is called P.E.T.S which stands for Pups Easing Travel Stress and consists of certified pet therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers who are affiliated with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. The Alliance has more than 15,000 members in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Travelers can expect to see the pups in the terminal once per week with the potential for more visits as the program grows.
