Rendering of Future ‘City Square’ in Myrtle Beach’s Arts and Innovation District Released

The city of Myrtle Beach released a rendering of what the City Square in the Arts and Innovation District will look like upon completion. The rendering shows the area of Eighth Avenue North, Oak Street and the Train Depot and was presented to the Myrtle Beach City Council last week after they held listening sessions about what residents wanted out of the space. The district will include a Performing Arts Center, a new Library, Art Museum and other private sector investments. Zoning plans were approved in 2019.
