Pfizer Seeks Approval From FDA For Booster in Ages 16-17

Pfizer is expected to seek authorization from the FDA for its vaccine booster shot for those who are ages 16 and 17. As previously mentioned…only those 18 and up are eligible for the booster which is administered six months after the second dose of the vaccine. The news comes as scientists around the world are racing to learn more about the ‘Omicron’ variant. In a speech yesterday President Biden urged people not to panic over the variant and encouraged those who have not yet gotten a booster but are eligible to do so.
